Beach Wedding Photo Shoot

Oh my gosh I'm so excited to show you all the images from the Beach Wedding Photo shoot that I styled the table scape for a couple months back. It was blazing hot but we persevered. I'd say it was worth it to get these amazing images.

Ok seriously girls, if you need a photographer - Sky is your girl! She'll get all of the shots you want and she has all of the best posing ideas to make you and your man look like legit models!

 Now for the table. I had so much fun creating this table scene, many of the items are from my own house. I like to have beach accents around in the summer. The plates and silverware were borrowed from the wonderful Tulips Home and Gift in Norman and the flowers were done by the amazing Kelly at Poppy Lane Designs. I think it all came together perfectly!

The lovely Donna from Madison's on Main created a beautiful ombre beach themed wedding cake and some amazingly delicious cupcakes with handmade cupcake wrappers and white chocolate seashell toppers!

Brides, have you ever seen a veil or an accessory in a magazine and fell in love only to find out it costs what you budgeted for your entire wedding? Well, have no fear. The Bridal Couture Girls can re-create the look you want and do it for much cheaper. Check out this version of a veil one of the BCGirls saw on J.Crew's website, it looks exactly the same! Gorgeous!

We had such a blast planning and prepping for this shoot and I look forward to many more brainstorming/wine drinking sessions!

Outdoor Table Decor

In Oklahoma, you can dine outside from about March - October with a few breaks in July and August due to extreme heat. So enjoying a meal or drink with friends outside is very familiar to me. I've seen so many beautiful outdoor tables lately, I just have to share.

I love the spring time colors mixed with muted neutrals on this table.

How great would it be to have a chandelier on your back patio? 

What a great solution to outdoor lighting problems too!

If only my table had a beach view...

I'm always on the lookout for a cute outdoor accessory. I picked up some gorgeous pink agate coasters while I was in Los Angeles last month.

I also decorate with my Pottery Barn Lanterns whenever possible. I picked up a few when they went on sale at the end of last summer, and they've come in handy for a few lawn games.
